Overview

OLM: On-line Market Research and Merchandising Information System represents an integrated solution for quality monitoring and managing of merchandising actions and similar market research activities.

Main goals:

  • The increase of merchandising actions efficiency through a controlled on-line, on-site data entry and a possibility of instant overview of necessary information through an advanced report-analytical system
  • Creating and maintaining data base which contains accurate on-site information
  • Higher-quality planning of merchandising actions and reducing costs

Modules

OLM consists of three modules:

Data Processing Server Module (back – office)

  • Module for managing merchandising actions and surveys: on-line monitoring and control of merchandising actions realisation – instant overview of performed shop detours, current condition at the shops, instant overview of active merchandisers on-site
  • Shops data base management; POS material stock management agencies/promoters management
  • Planning merchandising actions according to given parameters (marketing campaigns, necessary number of promoters, POS material, calculative expenses)

m-Merchandising PocketPC Module

  • On-line, on-site data entry
  • Access to central system through UMTS/HSDPA using secured communication channels
  • Automatic PocketPC update with new software versions (new functionalities, additional requests from the central station – surveys, etc.)
  • Workflow (daily road plan), automatic enrolment of list of shops scheduled for detour
  • Automatic daily shops detour planning for promoters, regional division, dynamic view of distance between given shops and current location, time necessary to detour shops
  • Possibility to take pictures of the shops and transfer them (with automatically recorded time and date) to the central system

Administration, Report & Analysis Client Module (iBIS OLM)

  • Module for administrating, managing, reporting and analyzing data gathered during merchandising actions on-site
  • Hierarchical organization provides several layers of business information with different complexity levels and with the possibility of rational and simple overview reaching the data source
  • All information is available in graphical and table form (depending on information type) through web browser interface; simple and intuitive to use
